E'lies'Stefanik and her comrades are traitors to this country and should be treated like traitors. She doesn't make this country better, she makes it look like a communist regime just beginning to form!

Her support of trump and trump supporters that attempted to overthrow our government. You know.........common knowledge of the event. And she continues to this day.

How about saying all local newspapers are fake news. Slippery slope for a person in her position.

E-lies is trying to stay relevant in the GOP zoo. Who knows what she is talking about, she never meets with those she represents. When is some progressive-minded resident of this district going step

up and run against this dingbat?

The last town hall I attended where she spoke, she accused all the newspapers in her district of lying about her. All of them. But she gave no examples. Most of those newspapers don’t have the resources to even cover her. So I do it.

I appreciate your love of movies. Avatar was the only one on the list I’d even heard of. I might look for “She Said” at the Crandall when they get it in. I like Great Course lectures mostly. I can watch those a half hour at a time. Actually pretty hooked on them.

Elise Stefanik has been fascinating to watch. I really can’t wait to see where she goes from here. It obviously doesn’t hurt to alienate every far left Democrat in upstate NY. 🙄 If the GOP ever makes a pivot back towards sanity, can she come back to being a moderate? Can’t imagine anyone having any trust in her at all.

....in the meantime, you will continue to vote for her, even as she sets her hair on fire, sez this ancient far-left Democrat......

Why not include 'She Said' in the poll? Even though it was not nominated, I agree with you that it was the best film I saw in 2022.

I forgot to say: kudos to you to drive down to Albany to see shorts at Landmark Spectrum. It is important to keep this valuable cinema alive.

Thank you, Ken. I saw She Said and found it moving on all levels--the difficult work of the two reporters, the fear about talking about Harvey Weinstein, their trauma and their courage, and the "good news" when the women told the truth and Weinstein was brought to trial. With The Spotlight, one saw again the courage it takes by investigative reporters and by a newspaper to print what is true. (And if DeSantis with his Florida legislation and other Republican State Legislatures get their way, the dissenting voices will get even more suppressed(around the Sullivan Act,now before theSupreme court). There was another courageous story about the woman in England who revealed the "plot" or Bush and Blair in propagating the disastrous Iraq war....and the newspaper that published it. And i could go on with Assange and Snowden and the courage of all whistleblowers against whataever those in power try to cover up. Thanks again, Ken.........And Stefanik's support of the despicable crazies is despicable...her words, her smiles, her lies, her desire for power.
