Every community needs a Ted (or two or three.) Guiliani selfishly ruined lives and tortured people who were providing a public service. I'm not sure you can put a price on that but this jury has had a good start.
"and down the road we have to resist any attempts to take books off the shelves."
Such welcome news from Mr. Mirczak, one of our new board members at the Hadley Luzerne Library! The backgrounds of the other appointees, Ms. Hartley and Ms. Gardener, suggest they too will be for freedom to read. Even a tiny community harbors the human panoply and a public library must serve its entirety. Thank you, volunteers, and may our new experience be a happy one for all!
Fitting tribute to “Ted” and all brave men and women willing to serve on Library boards, school boards, newspaper boards…and even local HOA boards. It takes considerable courage to be a good citizen, more now than ever before. One person dedicated to truth-telling and civic service can make a difference. And hopefully the 3 new board members with excellent credentials will make all the difference for the Luzerne Library area communities they will be serving.
And theocrat Jaquard is whining about this threat to his Christian supremacy agenda. I hope the new people are prepared for the vicious campaign he and his flock of sheep are going to whip up.
Vote, vote, vote, vote! And get all your friends to do the same. In April, you must get a ballot from Mary Visscher, secretary to the Superintendent of Schools (518-696-2378.) the election is in May - I don't know the date yet.
Wonderful news about Lake Luzerne’s newest appointed library board members! Congratulations and best wishes for looking forward to a library that recovers its reputation for what it was originally intended for!

It is so gratifying to see people such as Ted and the others step into the fray for the good of the community.

It’s a lesson for us all. To have a great community, you need need great citizens such as in this instance.
Merry Christmas, Lake Luzerne. What a gift. Happy reading to all.
I hope that those two ladies are also seeking redress from Trump for the multiple times he slandered them.
I believe it was Trumps words, as much as, if not more that emboldened his ilk to harass and threaten the ladies.
I wish the Luzerne Library luck in its reopening.
Elated re Juliani having to pay that sum. He did a LOT of damage to those two women.
And the election workers sued him again today because he continues to defame them.

I suspect it will get ugly again. They will have a big challenge finding a new librarian to work there.

Wonderful! It’s tragic tho that nobody will get any money from him because I think he is broke.
