I read your column every day and want to thank you for writing relevant and moving articles of interest to the community. I especially like your criticism (well deserved) of Elise. She is horrible for our area and has changed so much in the past years. Keep up the good work.
I still love doing it. Let folks know I’m out there. If you want to give someone a free subscription just send me an email address to tingleykenneth4@gmail.com and I will sign them up.
It's something I look forward to...a good writer writing about LOCAL, topical, interesting elements of our daily lives here. You strike a chord with your pieces---through both emotion and experienced, level-headed insight. The integrity and honesty is refreshing.
I read most of your columns. I live in Vermont, so I'm only marginally interested in upstate New York. But some of your columns are of great interest. I subscribe to two national newspapers and one online VT news service. I would probably subscribe to your columns. They are different,
I read it often and have always enjoyed your thoughts. I actually usually agree with you. I would pay to continue to read The Front Page. Keep up the good work!
Your pieces usually have spelling errors. These are annoying. At least you aren’t doing the repeats that occur in your book. Those started to drive me crazy. What I like are your pictures of Glens Falls life and showing us what is in the hearts and minds of people as you get to know them. Often, because of who you are, you experience what we cannot. That is special.
I definitely support your newsletter endeavor. I also subscribe to several newspapers online. I love the convenience of digital subscribing. It is obvious you are passionate about writing so please continue your good efforts to keep your readers informed and challenge us once in awhile.
I value your opinion, reporting and efforts to be straightforward. I read your posts regularly and if you have the need to receive a fee, I would pay. To me you are a breath of common sense.
So far loving it. I actually stopped reading after the first few paragraphs and started looking into how I upgrade to being a paying consumer of this news letter before I even got to the part you said it was being offered for free at the current moment,…( thought I was just getting a certain number of freebies per month)…no lie, thought I free loaded long enough. (suggestion,…maybe make it voluntary or sliding scale/volunteer amount, at first)…
I once had a college professor point out to me, that most journalism worth reading has a pay wall…and that that for the most part, free journalism is payed for by the propaganda value it hopes ( and unfortunately in these time, is being quite successful at),…it hopes to achieve …think the Brietbarts/FOXes of the world here…
As far as content,…I’m a bit of a political nerd so, guilty as charged. I do prefer the political stuff, especially the writing about Elise Stefanik. I’m thinking many of the papers throughout the district just do not have the resources to combat what I see, IMHO, as Stefanik’s constant and daily spin on the truth…This could be my personal bias but I swear some locals literally just reprint her press releases as news…not good…
I do however applaud your attempt at making your written offerings diverse in content…
Overall this reader is giving you the thumbs up and appreciate your efforts…
You write too well to stop. I would consider paying a fee to continue reading your pieces, though I may need to clear that with my wife. Since I retired at the end of November, she is the breadwinner in the family, other than my Social Security, which is not much....

Her behavior is so deplorable she is sadly pretty easy to write about. She is the opposite of a public servant.
Keep writing Ken. I read your column every day too!

Much appreciated. Another reader this week had a different perspective. He called me a “clown.”
I have enjoyed reading your newsletter. But to be completely honest I don’t know if I would pay to get it. Sorry
Well, that’s the big question. And you should only pay if you feel the content is worth it. I often have the same debate when the cable bill arrives.

Everyone needs an editor and one of the drawbacks of doing a newsletter on your own is that you don’t have an editor.

Please keep on writing. Read your column when you wrote for the Post-Star and am happy to see you on line.
Make sure to pick up the book of columns. I think you would enjoy it.
Keep up the your great work. I read your Post everyday. Look forward every day to your post.

Well that’s my 2 cents…Keep up the great work…
I appreciate the thoughtful response.

Thank You and I appreciate the support. And you should always clear it with breadwinner.
