Thanks for the reminders of some of the good that Cuomo did. Overall, I think he probably did a good job with Covid considering our state got hit early and hard. Time will tell. I’m sure that’s being scrutinized. Gun control is one of my soapbox issues and I’m appreciative of the SAFE Act.
He has the misfortune of being in today’s grownup Democratic Party and not the Republican Frat Party. Or he might get away with it all. At the risk of assigning a gender test, maybe we should strongly consider a woman governor. I know the Cuomo folks have been slamming AG James as gunning for the governor’s job. I hope she is.

I have been a supporter of Gov. Cuomo for years. I was really impressed and grateful for his handling of COVID in this state. This behavior is such a huge disappointment and let down. I must agree that he needs to resign. This is not what this state stands for, and can no longer be tolerated.
We have a double standard for Democrats. Trump gets a free pass on everything. Cuomo doesn’t despite his good work on Covid, guns, etc. I ask Gov. Cuomo not to resign.
