...thank you for the photographs (I question including one of the alleged miscreant, but perhaps it will elicit consequences, well "deserved"- and beyond the legal, for him) / Two favorite signs: "So much wrong so little cardboard" and "So f***ed that even the introverts are here"...but the greatest sign of all: the number of people that "showed up" / (thanks, again) / A glorious, and moving, demonstration of the American people's love for, and abiding devotion to: the American experiment...
So proud of my hometown! Good for you, Glens Falls!
We must have had 2000+ today in Bethlehem alone, with rallies in our neighboring cities of Allentown and Easton and smaller communities. After the kidnapping of 17 residents last week who were at work repairing an apartment building damaged by fire, which prompted several hundreds to show up the next day in protest, Gov Shapiro proclaimed June as “Immigrant Heritage Month.” As immigrants from around the world flocked to Bethlehem to work in “The Steel,” we are immigrant-Central, and proud of it!
Look it up, buddy. Anyone who requests asylum is entitled by OUR laws to a hearing to determine the validity of their claim. Arresting immigrants and deporting them without due process is against the Constitution. Most of them are following our laws that govern asylum seeking, and are waiting years for the chance to have their hearing. That isn’t their fault, it is the fault of both Republican and Democratic politicians going back decades that were afraid to do the hard work of tackling immigration and funding the system so it could function in a timely and efficient manner. If this doesn’t make sense to you, then you are deliberately trying not to understand it.
Says who? Trump? Right wing media? Have you interviewed every immigrant personally?
I’m more worried about the lawlessness in the Executive branch than I am about the lawlessness of some migrant farmworkers, most of whom, if they have not actually claimed asylum, just want to work and make a better life for their children.
As I said, I suspect you are deliberately being obtuse.
It has been a heartwarming day. I am so glad to see these pictures. I was in Saratoga indivisible with the biggest contingent at the end of the parade. I was so pleased to see how many people marched how many people stood up on the sidelines to join the marchers.
Thank you for covering this wonderful demonstration!!!
Thank you Ken 💙🇺🇸💙
What a GREAT gathering it was. Pretty much the first time I've felt any hope in quite a while.
Same for me.
You mean, they could only cover 1000 paid protesters
Please give us some proof that the protesters were paid.
I believe that was sarcasm by the the commenter.
Whoops, sorry, and good humor, Keith.
Sarcasm can be tough to pull off. I know from experience.
When the noon hour came, most were still there. I guess they were getting paid overtime.
So very proud of the turn out and voices for Democracy. Thank you all for speaking out.
Great turnout! Thank you for all the pictures!
Great to see people stepping up. This is a democracy and we need to exercise our free speech rights . Show up every Saturday!
NO KINGS!!!
We had about 800 in Canton (St. Lawrence County). And lots of honking from passersby!
Right on Glenns Falls! ☮️

I was amazed at the creativity of the signs. The passion of thought.
Perhaps these pictures should be sent to your "representative" to show her exactly how her constituents really feel!
They should.

Support the Constitution without enforcing immigration laws? Make it make sense.

Millions have come in with no claim of asylum. You are in favor of this lawlessness?
