I'm just so glad you are writing this column. I really know relatively nothing about baseball but here you are, once again, filling in another piece of history-- yes, terrible as it is-- for those of us who are so unaware of so many things. Thank you so much!!
Recognition is all the Negro Ballplayers want & deserve - they were playing at a tough time for them to get a chance for any of the big money & recognition they deserve - we've made many positive strides over the years, Thank God , but we've just got to be vigilant in recognizing their born with plight as far as I am concerned, and treat them with the respect they deserve.
Thank you!
Good look, hit it over the fence! Thanks.
Thanks John. Share with all your friends. I’d love to keep building the audience.

Well said Carl.
Wish I lived close enough to go but am so happy the earlier players are getting recognized.
Wish I could send you a photograph of my Grandfather, Uncle Wally and others of NY's Black Sox.
Take a photo of the photo and send via email - tingleykenneth4@gmail.com
Great article. Spot on.
Much appreciated.
A huge thank you for taking the time and effort to educate us about the continuing lack of information and recognition of the Negro League players.
You are welcome. There is some great history and stories there.
