Excellent! You can't get any more truthful than that,Will. I am keeping my fingers crossed that she has met her match in Matt, and we can send her packing..........to Mar-a-lago. 😊

It is an embarrassment that politicians feel justified doing whatever it takes to achieve person gain. This has been the case with Sedition Stefanik from the very beginning. Then however, she was clever enough to disguise her ambition. The ruse of camouflaging herself as bipartisan is no longer necessary . In order to achieve her goal, it is obvious that she will do or say anything. Unfortunately, NY 21 has been a stepping stone to either a Vice Presidential nomination or the Speakership. Both of which have nothing to do with the people of the North Country and we deserve better. .

If you were Steve Bannon’s podcast or OANN I’m pretty sure Stefanik would’ve gotten right back to you.

I’d been thinking about Jerry Solomon lately too. It’s hard for me to believe he’d be the Trump toady that ES and most of the rest of the GOP is. I’d like to think he’d be where Liz Cheney and Adam Kinzinger are. You know, RINOs.

Thanks for a well-written piece, Will. The pure fabric of this congressional district is made of folks who would never stand for this type of political rhetoric. We need a thoughtful, caring (about us), loving, and truthful representative in the U.S. Congress. Vote for change on Tuesday. Hopefully some of you already have.

Same as her mentor trump does lies then personal attacks so everyone forgets the lie. Stefanik doesn't care about the #21st.we're just a stepping stone that I hope she slips on Tuesday.

Stefanik is an embarrassment to Harvard, women, and the honest citizens of the district who believe in Democracy and what an "oath of office" means when you swear to uphold the Constitution. She is a bought and paid for Trump MAGA REP now and has been using the Trump "gaslighting strategy" and playbook for some time. Her national TV debut was the first impeachment trial and she's never looked back. And her pit bull, Alex "Snake in" DeGrasse, is a classic name calling, lying, dirty trickster in line with the best REPs have ever seen. Of course having been in Bush White House as an intern, Stefanik got first hand training from the Karl Rove playbook and it shows. If only Roy Cohn had still been alive in Trump WH, they might have successfully stolen the 2020 election (they sure came close to a coup). I doubt we will see her run for this office again in 24 as her slot as VP on Trump ticket is more likely (if he's not convicted and in jail by then) but surely she can land a multimillion TV spot on FOX, OAN, or some other morally bankrupt, extreme right wing media that works to gaslight the truth. This link to Harvard's official rebuke of her leaves no doubt they feel she is supporter of false and misleading information about the election results, aka THE BIG LIE. Too bad she wouldn't agree to debate Castelli because he would have chewed her up and spit her out and "Snake in DeGrasse" would have to sit there and wait until it was over to do spin control. She will most assuredly win this election, let's hope she moves on to the dustbin of Trump REP MAGA politics sooner than later. https://www.hks.harvard.edu/more/about/leadership-administration/deans-office/deans-remarks/elise-stefanik-and-institute

We endorsed her in the Adirondack Daily Enterprise when she first ran, but she completely changed. She doesn’t represent her constituents and her record is the opposite of what she says she stands for.

I’ve spoken to too many people who she ignores their correspondence.

I’m no voting for anyone who is seeking greed, power or fame.

Manners do matter and she has never had them, although she put on an act the first time she ran. Unfortunately she is the poster child for the direction the Republican party has chosen. If she continues to be successful , I fear for our section of NYS as well as for the entire country.

I totally agree with the rudeness factor in this day & age especially in politics and how about something else speaking of politics - the term now & then voting "across the aisle" even if there is just a hint of a possible agreement to encourage & dare I say the words "give & Take" to discuss to TRY to find an agreement like was available, unfortunately several several years ago. Amen Thank You - Carl H Ross
