Nice and comforting to read about what a small group of dedicated people can do when they work together from their hearts. Congratulations!

Not surprised Ken....is any entity addressing the 10 MILLION people what stayed home? That's the crux of the defeat...what happened to them and WHY???

Unfortunately, there is nothing unusual about that. A vast number of people just don't vote.

The Chapman is a treasure! I have witnessed a wonderful evolution over the 13+ years I have volunteered there. The energy that exists now with the staff is extraordinary and shows their commitment to make the Chapman a destination for all who love the history of this area. Sooooo much history!

Thank you for bringing/sharing all the beautiful decorations to the house! It will be "a place to be" during this holiday season!

Such great timing for this pre-Thanksgiving event as you and your son commemorate a significant “first” family holiday without Gillian’s physical presence, yet surrounded by so many precious memories of her lively and enduring Christmas spirit. Thanks for giving us all an opportunity to contribute what we could to help support this festive endeavor!

What I love is the love for Gillian, for penguins, for the Chapman house, for memories of what is precious, for beauty, for what is sweet and good in our world. I will try to come on Sunday to see and hear and celebrate all the above. On a whole other note, Crandall Library showed a film on President Carter--his history, his smiling and loving goodness, his love of all music and, really, of all people, his caring and deep integrity and wisdom and humor, his ability to not judge and see the goodness of all, his bringing the racist south into the spirit of connection of all beings.....and all the work he and Roslyn did after the presidency on treating guinea worm, on building houses...And he also wrote beautiful poetry. I often quote his "faith": to do what I can, whenever I can, wherever I can, for as

long as I can" and he did and does still. It is the antidote to greed, cruelty, hatred, power... It is good to be inspired by goodness, to honor what is precious, to feel love..... thank you Ken, thank you Chapman, thank you Carter....

I remember the newsroom - did listen once again to that speech. Shameful that there was only one season of that show - yet decades of so-called "reality" shows continue on.

Wonderful Christmas decorations, Ken.

Here is a post from Land Desk - regarding the potential down-sizing of Bears Ear Monument and likely othersl Real bummer.
