I most definitely do not consider Fox News newsworthy. It is the most prominent t.v. show that is as fake as the day is long! They operate on a low class mentality. I understand this country has freedom of speech, but should not have freedom of out right lies and deceit. For integrity's sake alone, they should be banned!

Freedom of Speech is a funny thing. There is no requirement for it to be truthful. First Amendment protects those who lie too.

I hear you, but I think when it comes to lies possibly causing safety issues, I think it needs to be addressed. I know it can be a slippery slope.

Well said, Ken. Once again, a thoughtful analysis. I fear that the folks that need to watch them won't. We're that much more jaded as a nation than we were in 1974, when fervent Nixon supporters were actually capable of watching and changing their minds, when presented with facts. Facts now are an endangered species. "Alternative Facts" and their purveyors have wrought much devastation to this great land.

Candidate Trump said he could shoot someone on 5th Avenue and not lose any support. For once, he was telling the truth. The findings the Jan. 6 Committee reveals to the country will try to be discredited by our own Elise Stefanik as a Nancy Pelosi "witch hunt". Sadly many Americans have already made up their minds. Reminds me of the saying "who you gonna believe, me or your lying eyes".
