I read the chaper on media and their plans to eliminate funding for NPR and PBS Newshour because they are partisan. I watch PBS Newshour every night and it is NOT partisan. It may be the best hour of news on television.

One week later, we are back to calling Trump an existential threat to democracy and a threat to our country that must be stopped at any cost. I suspect the assassination attempts will continue until one is successful.

But to state "must be stopped at any cost" would be over the top and would need to be toned down. Can you provide some examples of Democratic Party officials and elected Democrats calling Trump a "threat to our country that must be stopped at any cost"?

If you look through the history of this country you’ll see how tame the rhetoric today actually is.
