So interesting! Mr. Bridgeland should be in all of the ads for her opponent.

And in every local news story.

Her district needs to wake up and vote her out!

I’m hoping they will scrutinize her record closely and see if it mirrors her own values.

I don’t know this Bridgeland guy. I’m pretty sure he isn’t from here. So why did he, a Harvard whatever, think that it was a good idea to send Stefanik here? Is he taking responsibility for his own role in forming the character of a young woman? Stefanik’s personality was either unformed, untested, or she was really a person without the strong moral character from the start. The fact that she allowed herself to be used as a political pawn by people like Karl Rove who gave her $240k to run for office in a place she never lived gives strong indication she was never a moderate. Her voting record shows that her bipartisan votes were never or very nearly never made when an issue was a close call. That would have been a test of character. And this Bridgeland guy, whoever he is, has a moral hole in his soul. I hope Harvard cans him.

To answer the question in the headline: No, her values don’t match mine. I’m sure that wouldn’t bother her, tho. She’s no doubt back to demonizing immigrants and liberals today, even after the massacre in Texas. It’s small consolation that Bridgeland is probably even more despised by Stefanik and her ilk. He’s a RINO, now defined as being disloyal to Trumpism.

As of a few weeks ago, I’ve lived in Northern NY, in various locales, for 65 years. It’s always been heavily Republican. I’m used to that. Or was. Next year I hope to get my house sold. I abhor the idea of moving because I want to live among my own political tribe. I can’t continue to live in an area where over 60% of the populace are willing to cast votes for people as immoral and unprincipled as Trump and Stefanik, tho.

Just to nitpick, she’s been elected 4 times. Not by “we,” tho. She ran her first two campaigns on taking away my health insurance and replacing it with magic beans. I naturally didn’t vote in favor of that. She beat Aaron Woolf, Mike Derrick and Tedra Cobb (twice). I do want to thank you for affirming my memory of her saying she would only serve 5 terms. As you point out, that’s likely no longer operative.

I edited and lost part of my comment. Weird.

Anyway. I do want to thank you for affirming my memory of her saying she’d only serve 5 terms. As you point out, that’s likely no longer operative.

Ken: extremely well produced. A future topic might be “ Who is the Stefanik attack dog, Alex DeGrass, and what’s his game?”

People who think like our Congresswoman and those who she supports for her own good ,murdered 19 children in Texas yesterday . Our house is not only on fire , its half way burned to the ground .

Not much more to say. Don't blame Bridgeland; he was misled like many others. Karl Rove saw the truth.

I must remember that quote that she’s climbed the ladder on the back of lies about the last election.

Her values are not my values. They are Trump's values. She is an embarrassment.

Very sad state of affairs. I always thought she was a carpet bagger and a fraud but supporting the Big Lie shows her true colors. Remember when she ran first time agains Aaron Woolf, her team came up with a Trumpy branding gimmick calling Woolf "Brooklyn's Upstate Congressman" because Aaron, (like Stefanik) had legal residency outside the district (he was in Brooklyn, she in DC) and at least he built and owned his summer home and spent many years there. She registered at her parent's summer home (in time to be on the ballot) in Willsboro but never really lived there. (Congressional candidates are only required to live in the state not the district they represent but most live in the districts). Had REP candidate Matt Doheny kept his promise to run on his other ticket line when he lost the REP primary to her, Woolf most likely would have won the general election. But a funny thing happened. Once you have enough petition signatures to get you on the ballot for a party, there are only 3 ways to get off the ballot prior to general election. If you die, it's automatic, if you are convicted of a felony you are disqualified and last, if you decide to run for a different position and get enough signatures to be on that ballot. Guess What? Mr. Doheny (from Alexandria Bay area) must have gotten a call from some high level REP (Karl Rove perhaps?), but REPs were backing Stefanik so Doheny suddenly ran for a judgeship in of all places, Brooklyn NY!!! See how that works? If he had stayed on his second party ballot he most likely would have stripped away enough REP votes from Stefanik that Woolf could have won.

Volumes of malicious communications concerning Rep Stefanik with little respect of her office. Allow me to offset some of the respectful anger.

A one and only visit to her district Glens Falls office recently was a concern and my attention concerning a young persons involvement with a serious Federal program. The positive result with information came promptly from two (+ Watertown) of her offices. A phone call and a document. The young person and I were very pleased.

I wish to add- as a 50+ year licensed health care provider employed in cities of Rochester, Syracuse, Utica, and Binghamton- Well-informed about Democrat prolific domination of these conflicted cities. All four cities are the poorest in relation to our state averages. Rochester is now number one ! Will it ever change?

Hadley, and the entire Saratoga County is now in Paul Tonko's district. We will have hope for these 4 Northern county towns. I was recently asked by a area political state employee if Hadley was inside the Blue Line !!

Not a Trump voter- twice ! Just did not vote the Presidential line. Almost a million did the same.
