Are these timed release (for 5 a.m.), for us people who have bad dreams?

I think when it comes to liking someone -- I want to say republican, but I will say a politician -- things like asking about one's family... should be as a pretty low bar. For one she may or may not have known of your wife two days before and had a staff member produce a note card for her.

It is nice, but when t comes to decency, that is a pretty low bar

The fact that she meets with EX-newspaper reporters is more telling. Mr. Doolittle doesn't have the power/influence he did as an editor.

Anyone who has been in the news business will see how people really felt about them, the week after people realize they no longer have that job.

When I worked at Milk and Honey downtown she would stop in now and then and she was the most lovely person. She always asked how the owner was doing and chatted with me. What a spectacular job she and her son are doing. We need more people like her down there.

The need is for more people with actual conservative principles and fewer people whose only instinct is to own the libs. God bless Ms. Miller.

What would Jerry Solomon do?

What a nice article! Thank you for writing this. It was nice to read about someone who is not just talking the talk but actually doing something great for Glens Falls.

She sounds like a nice lady & not a conservative. Glad she’s doing so much for Glens Falls.

Thanks Will. The more we take the time to actually listen the more we will be surprised by how nice people can be. Politics be damned.

Certainly Elizabeth Miller deserves credit for her efforts. As a resident at 14 Hudson, we have already been in to the Market and appreciate the attention to esthetics of her projects.

I just want to note that there are other developers who made a commitment to Glens Falls over the past few decades. Peter Hoffman did his share of investing and renovating. The Bank should get some credit to for staying in the City. But, the other renovation projects, some on more of a shoestring, can't be overlooked.

Downtown Glens Falls will face new challenges in the coming years as more people recognize all this small City has to offer. We will see more apartments, more traffic and more of the seedier crowd too. Prosperity does not come without a cost.

Best of luck to you and I look forward to your essays.

Thank you. I'm not sure about seeing more of the seedier crowd. I think we saw more of that crowd 20 years ago on South Street. But I am concerned about development pricing people out and downtown becoming overbuilt in the way, in my opinion, Saratoga Springs has. Glens Falls has a lot of character but that can be erased when people start making lots of money.

I would like first off to offer my prayers for you & your wife in your terrible battle with The Alzheimer's

disease, May God bless you in those efforts but Thank you for getting back into publishing your articles on current events going on in our lovely city of Glens Falls & surrounding area. As been mentioned before Mr Hoffman and the Bank with it's beautiful building, that is constantly getting upgraded - There are others who deserve credit for hanging tough in the face of tough competition. It is nice see you back in your business as you have our own type of extremely tough competition. God Bless you and your wife.
