I think Elise has finally met her match with Matt Castelli. It sounds like she's very afraid..........and she should be! I think since Matt has worked in the Government, he has probably seen it all, is knowledgeable of how things are done, and has a genuine love of this country, and takes his oath seriously. He is genuine, while she is fake.

Her attacks have certainly reached a new level of intensity.

When Elise Stefanik is culling news articles from the Daily Mail to launder through the Post Star it’s not surprising that she’d also latch onto or create her own conspiracy theories. It’s ironic that someone on House Intelligence is actively spreading disinformation in this country.

It’s so unfair to her that she has to suffer the indignity of actually asking northern NYers to vote for her and appear in debates. We’ll see if spends any more effort on that than she needs to in ruby red upstate.

Karma isn’t instant as John Lennon phrased it, but I trust that time does eventually wound all heels and that everything Trump touches dies. 😉

It is an interesting point that despite serving on the House Intelligence Committee she never alerted law enforcement to Castelli’s role in this coup. That seems to be breech in her oath of office.

Thanks! Hadn’t thought of that. Weird, 🤔 that she wouldn’t.

Maybe she’ll investigate that along with whether the moon landing was faked when the lunatics take back the asylum.

Stefanik is afraid to debate Castelli. She has learned well (at the school of Trump) to throw any crazy story at the wall hoping something will stick. Proof never matters because no one that supports her bothers to check or even consider if it is reasonable. I would love to watch these two debate.

The odd part for me is that Stefanik always held her own in the debates I saw over the years. I would not think she has anything to be afraid of.

She may have less to defend or support her views with at this point. She may also be more intimidated by Castelli than Tedra. We shall see!

I believe... and I don't know how true this is... knowing that Castelli worked for the CIA, he probably knows of some of the corrupt things stefanik has done... I am sure she is afraid in a debate, or a campaign ad, he just might reveal some of her evil, not to mention legal jeopardy

Seems to me most of the bad things she has done - blatant lying in public, hiring high school kids to spy on her opponent, reaching out to a supporter who threatened harm to reporters - have been done in public and she seems to be proud of them. Check out Chapter 27 in “The Last American Newspaper.”

However, in the last two years she has done so many indefensible things

from voting against a legal election

to ignoring the crimes of don the con -- new ones revealed each day.

Mr. Castelli has called her out on her attacks on law enforcement AND the fact that classified documents at mar a lardo, would put CIA and FBI agents in danger, if they were in the wrong hands

check that, they were in the wrong hands -- don the con

I truly believe in an old saying, "if you give a person enough rope, they will hang themselves". I think 'Lyin' Elise is reaching that point.

Stefanik represents a serious, dangerous threat to our democracy. She does demonize her opponents instead of stating the work she has done for the good of the people. She foments the big lie which in my view is treasonous.

Ken,

Would it be possible to provide links to Elises statements regarding Matts association with a coup and her statement about the media collusion against her?

Such information is very valuable in debates with others outside this forum.

We are connected on Facebook.

Elise Stefaniks Cow.

Jake ashbey said she is the most patriotic person in America. Hahahaha

Elise's biggest mistake was embracing Donald Trump completely. Perhaps she, or someone advising her, thought it was necessary to win. Never mind that she has one of the safest seats in the country. I think she is a spineless insult to the voters of her district and should be shown the door, though that probably won't happen. There were rumors she was going to run for Governor, but the fact that Cuomo is gone and Hochul is not from downstate make that problematic for her - harder to paint with a broad brush. I wouldn't be surprised if she found a reason to not run for reelection.

first of all: deGRASSe is not a spokesmen, he is a henchman.. he operates at a level that is needed to be associated with stefanik.. he lies as much as she does and is a racist like she is

In fact anyone who works for stefanik is a supporter of her lies

I had reached out to the office for help five years ago.. and all they did was go through the motions.. I was going through a dilemma. I knew a bill that stiffy was voting on would destroy a safety net for have the children I worked with.... I thought, if I say something they might stop helping me, but I couldn't ignore it, I asked to talk to the regional person and told the woman as much

the silence of 'we don't care' lasted for 20 seconds. and she said "thanks for your opinion"

In the end it didn't matter stefanik still voted against the health of children, and her office did nothing to help me..

In fact, in the end, I had to tell the guy who is now the regional director he was wrong. I called him to say I had solved the problem, but before I told him that.. he aid: you don't have a choice either you accept what the government was offering me or not

either he was that clueless (and still is) about different programs to help constitutents or he was doing all he could to stop me from getting them.

disgusting is all I can say about stefanik and her cast of losers

You are right. DeGrasse is a hired attack dog so the congresswoman does not have to get her hands dirty. During the 2018 campaign, his rhetoric was so bad I told our reporters that it was our policy not to quote spokespeople. We would only quote the candidates. I think that is a good policy that the entire news media should adopt.

In many cases I would disagree with you, but in stefanik/deGRASSe it is spot on.

His evil is her evil, but she used his evil (as you point out) as a barrier, so she could alway say: 'that was my spokesman'

I have to say, the 'No Lie Pledge' was one of my most enjoyable move, but was also the beginning of the end. To me the fact that she wouldn't take it, then took it, then lied right afterwards --- proved who she was, but...

Sadly showed that those who supporter could care less about her being honest or not.

My disagreement would be for the bigger fish. If Joe Biden or don the con, was to visit Queensbury to make an election speech, I think at that level it would be hard for the candidate to respond to every media in the area and spokespeople is just a fact.

stefanik on the other hand, is going out her way to avoid objective media for the sake of propagandist media that protect her lies

I fear you are correct sir.

The absolute irony of this is: why not just lie from the beginning. Take the No Lie Pledge.. if you are going to lie, and lie a lot, why is your iffy moral stance is: "I don't want to lie about the No Lie Pledge?"

I get she was grand standing, acting as if she promised not to lie, it would imply she had lied before, unfortunately for her -- that horse was long out of the barn and in another pasture frolicking with the stallion liars.

Do you have any idea why Doonesbury was dropped from this morning comics?

I check today's strip on the Washington Post, and it deals with Trump being taken to Georgia by the secret service. Was the content too political for this area with its many "Trump in 24" flags?

Link to Washington Post Doonesbury for Sunday: https://www.washingtonpost.com/doonesbury/

Saturday arrival and Sunday morning and into your book- "The Last American Newspaper"- respected the Introduction with Mary Joseph. Also, chapter 3, "9/11" and 4, "Maury were enjoyed. I did jump to chapter 27 to review your narrative concerning Congresswoman Stefanik and the drama with the 2020 elections. I will be hopping through the chapters as the titles attract me. Your are in a league of your own- book is well written and well versed. Book size is ideal.
