Agree with the others: pink lady’s slipper. I came across the largest collection I’ve ever seen of these in one spot on conservation land called Old Gick in Wilton recently. Come see the lupines here now as well!

It is a wild orchard, i think--a beautiful and rare lady slipper.

I think the sweet blues are wild geraniums

The Jack in the pulpit is also around now, along with all the black flies which seem more prevalent than i have experienced in 40 years.

And thank you, Will, for your walk through Cole's woods, the stroll, the sweetness...

I’ve never been in Coles Woods but I’ll put it on my bucket list to hike there sometime. Very interesting and…how long before it will be developed. Thanks for this.

Totally agree on the gem that is Cole's woods and admit I did not care for The Corrections.... could have easily been 300p- excessive detail where it wasn't needed...imho

One of my favorite places on the planet. I spent countless hours there, in the winters cross country skiing and in the summers running cross country. Home to some of my most pleasant memories. Thanks for the happy reminder. Going upstate in a couple weeks and plan to spend some good time there.
