Yes, addressing problems that don’t exist while the MAGA economics of her lord and master continue to harm her district. Is that what she intends to bring to the entire state as governor?

It’s hard to live off of culture wars.

Kind of sad she couldn’t have been at the UN to be part of Trump’s abandonment of Ukraine.

I hope that the Saratoga Springs City School District tells Stefanik "see you in court", as the Governor of Maine, Janet Mills, told Trump a few weeks ago.

I can't help notice that Elise doesn't seem to have any major concerns about her puppet master's destruction of our country. Must be she thinks life is just a bowl of cherries for her

constituents and her family. Must be that she sleeps well at night while the rest of us hope to wake up to a semblance of sanity one day at a time.

If that's her cause celebre, it won't further her aspirations to be Governor. While, true a majority of people don't support trans women athletes competing, this is still NY and it is hard to imagine it would determine many people's vote choice. And ad the letter points out, our state law does not let it discrimination no matter what the federal govt says.

She's worried about trans athletes?

Meanwhile I had a conversation with a lady who had grew up in Harlem. Her father was very recently detained and held for a half an hour by ICE. All because he is brown skinned. Her familys lineage native american and black. He was born here in America. No criminal record or anything.

So glad we get our trans athlete problem under control.

Stefanik is starting to reek of desperation. LOOK AT ME ME ME!!!! Thankfully with NYC in play it is highly doubtful that she would ever be elected governor. Kamala didn't do well in NYS but she still won the state. And after the dismal performance by Elies' Dear Leader, people may think twice about electing his Sycophant in Chief.

Hochul is not popular. She needs to be primaried. It was a very close race last time. NYS has elected Republicans in the past and this time would prove even more detrimental. Women's rights,LGBTQ+, immigrants and migrants rights, schools, the environment (even marijuana laws) etc. could be affected by a Republican Governor. We can't count on NYC to help Upstate with this. Cuomo is leading in the polls as Mayor and IMO the worst on the slate of contenders after Adams. Democratic Representatives must be outspoken about the craziness of scapegoating our minority populations. They should be pointing out that the opposition is always making them the problem in society when in fact they are not. The amount of outrage toward transgender youths is disgusting. Save our children they cry, except if you mean any common sense gun control. Now, there is a real problem. Just incredible times we live in.

When will "Elsie"s" Yapping ever end!!! PLEASE, I hope she runs for Governor so she can get soundly tromped!!! And out of NY Politics! This is the only way we can get rid of her. I still can't understand why all these "north country" voters keep supporting her when she under minds them at every turn. Oh well, stay tuned, right? The "clown show continues"....

She knows how unpopular she is outside of red upstate NY. That’s why she parachuted in here rather than running in Albany where her home is.

Eli$e should *HAVE* a daughter if she wants to use the rhetoric of "our daughters." MY daughter played a professional women's league with a transgendered person and was fine with the compassion and the humanity. It's wasn't all about winning, Eli$e. No wonder she is lost.

I hope Stefanik does run for Governor. Anything to relieve us here in the North Country from a MAGA republican who could care less about her constituents, or worse, one who revels in them feeling the pain of lawless immigration policies, environmental degradation, chaotic financial markets and the complete and utter abuse of executive power. To name a few of her boss's transgressions.

Our Congresswoman Elise Stefanik: "I write today to draw your attention to the Saratoga Springs City School District (SSCSD) Board of Education's blatant rejection of its requirements under Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972 (Title IX) as expressed by President Donald Trump's Executive Order 14201…."

Of course Stefanik wants to draw attention to anything other than Trump’s increasing unpopularity. After all, if she doesn’t distract from Trump’s disastrous first 100 days, she’ll fall into the very same hole that he’s digging for himself. So, Congresswoman, never ever talk about the economy, prices, and retirement accounts. This from Axios:

"On the economy, the single most decisive issue of the 2024 election, Trump's polling has never been worse:

-A Reuters/Ipsos poll out Wednesday found 37% of Americans approve of Trump's handling of the economy — his lowest rating ever, going back to the start of his first presidency.

-A Pew Research Center survey found Trump's overall approval rating has fallen to 40%, while confidence in his economic leadership has dropped to 45% — the lowest since tracking began in 2019.

-New Gallup polling out this week showed that a majority of Americans, for the first time since at least 2001, believe their economic situation is worsening."

As a lifelong Democrat in northern NY I never get my hopes up. I went and looked and maybe it’s just that I woke up too early, but it looked like CD21 is only an R+4.

Considering how some of the special elections have gone that seems mighty close especially with the stable genius’ approval heading south.

I still look at the BS about running for governor as a cry for attention. When I saw the photo on the front page of the PS this morning I was afraid her new Mar a Lago face had rejected her. 😢

I agree. I don't think there is any way she runs for governor in a blue state. She appears to be just trying to keep her name in the national news so Trump does not forget about her.

As I has stated before, Sedition Stefanik has one concern and one concern only and that is self interest. She is no more concerned about the health, welfare and safety of our children than she is about life on Mars. It’s all about getting the Destroyer in Chief to look at her. Miss Harvard isn’t smart enough to realize that he has already chewed her up and spit her out. By throwing the Saratoga School District under the bus will not help her in the least when she decides to run for governor. It’s just one more thing that will make her unelectable.

‘From Editor & Publisher on Monday there was this great quote, especially appropriate after a weekend of protests: "A newspaper is not just for reporting the news—it’s to make people mad enough to do something about it." -Mark Twain’

Well, perhaps the DNC is now mad enough to start supporting Democrsric candidates in so-called "red" states and districts. This from the NYT:

"The Democratic National Committee is pledging to give tens of thousands of dollars monthly to every state party across the country, emphasizing red states over blue ones, in an expansive — and expensive — push to make Democrats competitive from Alaska to Florida." (NYT)

For the 2026 election in NY’s 21st CD (or even in a special election if Trump benevolently smiles on our Congresswoman Stefanik and graces her with some administrative appointment), maybe the DNC will actually support a candidate like Blake Gendebien.

She is such a joke - always wants it both ways. It is laughable that she's writing to the Dept. of Education, given it's been decimated by her boss. Maybe her ego is bigly-enough that she thinks her letter will float to the top of the pile.
