Does anyone have a link to the story about criminal investigation starting into the protests in Sackets Harbor? I don’t see that mentioned on the Wwny tv site or anywhere else. Thanks!
Here it is. Seems to imply that whoever “doxxed” by sharing his address is being investigated. Ridiculous. The address is readily available on internet. He seems to be trying to scrub his reputation so he can return to retire there. https://www.wwnytv.com/2025/04/14/homan-base-your-opinion-fact/
Oh I think that ship has already sailed. He can retire there, but small towns don’t forget that easily. “Through the execution of the search warrant they were found.” Does he mean like Breonna Taylor was found? His explanations make it sound like they took those kids and their mom on an all expenses paid trip to a spa when what they did was snatch an innocent family from their home, subject them to frightening uncertainty and intrusive questioning. No way to sugar coat that!
I think in your second life (maybe third or fifth?) it is nice to see you expand your horizons, from being a book author to a ‘Theateeeea ter’ person.
As a reporter you saw stories and exposed them. Not just corruption, but the kindness that exists in our world - those place between the capitol building and Cambridge (Battenkill Books).
One of the things that I have found: the best stories are often told by people, not places. Problem is, few people get to hear these stories without a newspaper (now substack).

One of the things I find amazing is pos_tfnKKK is removing her story. She is well read, but all her book lists have been removed from the internet. She has “ read the books that you find out about people” to paraphrase David Byrnes. * but she now embraces ignorance.
I know this is true for gQpedos... they have stories, but it is clear.. they have decided to embrace ignorance as well.
* David Byrnes: “I've met the people that you read about in books” from Talking Heads, “ Uh-Oh, Love Comes To Town”
"The Trump administration is threatening on coming after you because you are exercising freedom of speech."
Yikes, I have to wonder how they'll feel when I return from my annual trip to Ireland this summer. Customs might get interesting, as I've done my fair share of sh*tposting about Krasnov and the administration.
"Sir, welcome back to the States ... We're just gonna do a quick check of your Bluesky activity. Hang tight in this little windowless room, will ya?"
One way trip to Louisiana? Might be nice, though probably not. I hear detention-camp summers can be brutal down there.
Tomorrow marks the 250th anniversary of the beginning of the American Revolution. Honk-N-Waves/Indivisible Adks, Broadway and Church St. Saratoga Springs Sat. April 19, 12 - 1:30 pm and in Glens Falls , Glen and Bay Streets, Sat., Apr 19, 12 - 1:30 pm. Bring signs and your voices.
Cannot recommend Battenkill Books enough if you are a reader, a lover of books, a believer in the power of words, or someone looking for examples of how to make community-building part of your everyday. This recognition is so well deserved.
We moved to Washington County during quarantine in 2020 to caretake a relative’s property and were thrilled to have discovered Battenkill Books. We now live on the West side of Saratoga County and still shop only there for books. We order what we want and pick it up when we are able. Every visit is worth the trip.
Such a fitting tribute to these dedicated folks who have provided so many literary riches to so many in the Cambridge area community and beyond.
For a few years we had a lovely little book store in the brick building next to our downtown police station. Such a cozy atmosphere with wide selection of books for all ages…and they’d order other books we wanted within a reasonable timeframe. And they took book donations which were offered to the public for free. I gave them my complete set of Khalil Gibran books which I had discovered in a quaint little bookstore in Newport back in the 70’s.
Now more than ever we need those little sanctuaries.
I’m curious to see how her home-base popularity holds up as tariffs hit NY-21 pocketbooks and dairy farmers, who didn’t mention their workforce before, start talking to their neighbors about how locals don’t like the cow-adjacent working conditions they offer and Congress has refused to pass laws to address year-round migrant workforce needs and the farms who have had their infrastructure reimbursements cancelled tell their stories and so on and so on. If farmers and other small businesses in NY-21 want what Stefanik votes for, their business models are now as fictional as that “tariff math” equation.
It doesn't surprise me at all.
Stefanik wants to be POTUS.
Serving as Gov of NY will give her the experience she thinks she needs.
She has done all she can as a Rep, yet despite her ardent support of Trump, didn't get a post in Trump's administration.
as close as she comes to potus
will be pos, minute 'tu' (pardon my Spanish)
Elise…ewwwww.

Well put! And with children, this could be lifetime psychological trauma.
It was a Watertown TV report.
A quote from Joyce, a reader of Robert Hubbell:
If you have ever wondered what you would have done in Nazi Germany,
you are doing it now.
Sucha a lovely little bookstore in a lovely little village. It’s so wonderful to go there and be able to poke around the whole town.
I’ve enjoyed going in there and getting books and the staff is helpful if you need it and lets you browse to your content.
Take the time to drive through this beautiful county and stop at the shop.. you won’t be disappointed.
Plus if you go on Sunday morning you can stop at King donuts!
Appreciation to Mr Van Duesen for standing strong against oppression.
Thank you for recognizing him

PerCzar Homan, everyone wearing a Chicago Bulls hat is a member of MS 13.
This lifelong Celtics fan just purchased a Bulls hat
Rebellion starts in simple ways.
YES!
I just wish ever magAhole© had some sense of introspection.. and thought about all the things that will get (brown skin) people deported (against the 8th Amendment) that they also have... sometimes that aren't easy to eliminate (say a Bull's Tattoo)
When it comes for you, gQpeds, it is too late to become 'woke'
I guess Kevin Huerter is a target now too.

I love Battenkill books! And it’s right next to Valley Artisans Market, a lovely, surprisingly sophisticated, collection of artisan ‘s creations

As guv, Elise can pardon Trump of his state convictions
Oh Geez - 🫣. Maybe she could be reassigned as ambassador to El Salvador…
Well, she did promise to save the prison in Comstock.
Oh my, another frightening thought. I forgot he still has the sentencing hanging over him.
