It is so hard because it does take two or three tests over days to even know if you actually have COVID or not. Is the drug available thru your physician if you can prove a positive test?

Thank you for sharing your experience. Everyone learns from one another. Feel better soon.

When my husband and I got COVID last July, he got Paxlovid at the Walgreen's in Chestertown; he just called his doctor and said he was positive and they sent over the prescription. I think at one point, you could just call local health depts and they would arrange for you to get it or have it sent to you. It seems very readily available; which is good for high risk folks.

I too also have Covid for the very first time. I guess it was a matter of time. Luckily not missing a beautiful weekend!

One big difference, though, thanks to treatment and vaccines, cases are often milder and not life threatening. I lost people to COVID before the vaccine, but now, when folks I know get it, everybody recovers. I don't take that for granted.

Thank you, Ken. Public diary entries like this are not published often enough.

I'll be sending it around. Thank you!
