It amazes me that so many WWII veterans lived for so long. Crazy. All I can figure is that if that experience didn’t kill them nothing except old age was going to. God bless Floyd!

Both my father, Jack Wilson, and my husband, Bill Parks , went to Floyd Dumas to have their trousers altered. They always enjoyed their talks with him.

I am glad you recognized Floyd Dumas. My husband played with him on the Oaken Bucket league at the Par 3. Over time we heard his WWII story and many others, not to mention the Holes in 1! I was so glad when he was chosen to be the leader of the Memorial Day parade. We often crossed paths at the Hannaford. He loved his wife dearly and was a smart dresser. I miss our encounters and am happy for this visit on Memory Lane. TY
