The Tweeter-in- Chief had no intention of being “presidential,” second-time-around, in charge of a democratic nation. He was only trying to stay out of prison for past and already-planned future crimes against democracy. To execute his immediate plan to pardon an unprecedented number of other criminals to create his personal army to protect him from additional assassination attempts. And to pay back his I.O.U.’s to Putin and Musk for financing his first and second campaigns/assured elections.

The takeover of the Trump Tower lobby by protesters this week took the fight inside tRump’s own house… without armed Secret Service officers to stop them. The “hit’em where it hurts” strategy is working with Tesla sales deep dives, and stock market downward spirals and tariff reactions from Canada and other countries. Though it affects every day Americans, it may take huge dents in DEM and GOP federal/state/local elected officials’ and Big Corporate CEO’s personal finances/planned retirement funds for them to rebel against their Feared/not-revered Leader…

and start saying “Hell No!” to the repetitive sadistic ambush/evictions of critical government employees who have remained more loyal to their oaths of office than our elected officials.

I am going to show up Monday night at the Queensbury Town Board meeting. Hopefully, I can persuade some of the Queensbury Dems to accompany me.

I plan to attend...

would posters detract from our presence, perhaps cause them to shut down comments portion of meeting?

My gut is that it would alert them to an organized protest, so the first step might be for people to quietly voice their opinion during open comments.

Maybe show the posters during the comment portion of the meeting

That might work.

I don't think that posters do as much as people standing up and speaking at the podium. They can be an unwelcome distraction like all the pingpong paddle signs during Trump's speech.

I plan to be there to speak.

Thanks for the morning news, Ken. I hear the president dropped his cellphone down the garbage disposal. He ended up with “shredded tweet.” :)

Now Don, why in the world would he be anywhere near a garbage disposal? After all, he has "people" to take care of his needs. Was it much needed sarcasm? Nice thought tho.

someone really needs to confiscate his phone!

As a former Town Supervisor, fill that room with bodies and several spokespeople.

Bodies, lots of them, are more effective than signs. As a matter of fact, standing room only is the goal. As an aside, Lance Wang who writes for the Greenwich Journal wrote a brilliant piece on civil service, its history and the valuable work they do within the realm of government. He introduces it with the history of the civil service through the years. As a former history teacher, I really appreciated his use of FACTS!

Where in Crandall Park would it be placed? Would it be in addition to the one already there or as its replacement?

Last I read, it would be taken down, and used in sections over at the shirt factory area.Glad to see it be used and not disposed of. For as long as that South Street project has been planed for, that pavilion should of always been pre-planned for.

I believe it was suggested it could be next to the softball fields where the dirt parking lot is now as a picnic pavilion.

I support all forms of (non-violent) opposition and resistance to the Trump Regime. I do think, though, that what’s needed for change is for Trump voters to feel, viscerally, a ‘buyer’s remorse’. They need to feel in their bones that they’re worse off under Trump than they were under Biden. I just hope things don’t have to get too bad for that to happen.

People ask me when I post on republican's sites or argue with gQpedos what do I hope to accomplish... and I always say...

I am not exactly sure, but I KNOW, I am not going to let ignorance and stupidity fester.. I am not going to let lies live and not call them out

and

if that triggers the gQpeds.. so be it..

if they remain willingly ignorant = so be they dumb

if they kick their heels in and support the lies...shame on them...

it is time for the victims to tell the fools they are wrong

I think, to the degree that life for Trump voters becomes harder for them under Trump, there’s the opportunity to change minds and feelings.

But what will that take? Continued inflation? A recession? A depression? An economic collapse? Army soldiers tear-gassing peaceful protesters or using their weapons? A collapse of the Social Security system? A collapse of the federal government?

Check that

They are wildly coyote

They've run off the cliff

They can turn and try to run back but there's no Terraferma underneath their feet to move they are left the fall into the ignorance that they support

The abyss

Things probably will get pretty bad. You are never so adamant and insistent in an argument as when you are starting to get the inkling that you are in the wrong. They will fight hard to hold onto their beliefs rather than admit they’ve been had.

and ashamed of the pos_trnKKK's of the world who are supposedly our leaders, but do not lead and will not represent us

and to contrast the 'meet'-less in the political sandwich.. the buns are educated.. not always through college, but through reading and being aware of the issues..

Hi Ken. Sorry, I must not have been clear about the status of the pavilion.

Eric Unkauf, owner of the Shirt Factor has arranged w the Bonacio project mgr to bring in his own crew and equipment for one week in April to disassemble the pavilion and move it to the Shirt Factory property.

Hopefully Eric can get a portion of the 180' structure up this summer. It will be a covered area for sitting during Food Truck Thursdays and for events.

Bonacio is contributing $5,000 towards rental equipment and Unkauf has requested GF Common Council for $10k towards same. He plans to cover all other costs himself.

So exciting!! He's Saving Our Pavilion!
