Here’s wishing all our faithful readers of The Front Page a Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays and a better new year in 2024.
We appreciate all of you for reading and supporting the need for commentary, perspective and context in your daily reading diet. We hope you continue to share your work with friends and acquaintances in the coming year.
The coming year is an important one for our country and we plan on being there for you every step of the way.

Still…
“The Christmas hope for peace and good will toward all men can no longer be dismissed as a kind of pious dream of some utopian. If we don’t have good will toward men in this world, we will destroy ourselves by the misuse of our own instruments and our own power. Wisdom born of experience should tell us that war is obsolete. We must either learn to live together as brothers or we are going to perish together as fools." - Rev. Martin Luther King Jr., 12.24.67
It cheers me up to read The Front Page. I'm heartened the North Country has journalists like you. Perhaps one day the Rockwell Falls Library will reopen and Hadley/Luzerne can begin to enlighten itself again. Thank you for what you do, and a kinder 2024.
