WAMC host Joe Donohue and former Post-Star editor Ken Tingley will be holding a conversation about life, journalism and newspapers on Thursday, March 10 from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. at the Greenwich Public Library.
Tingley, who was editor of The Post-Star for 21 years and sports editor for 11 years, recently published a collection of his columns about local people and events called “The Last American Editor.”
Former USA Today editor Ken Paulsen said this about the collection: “You'll find the spirit of America in Ken Tingley's columns. He has the compassionate voice of a man determined to tell stories that might otherwise have gone untold about people who might otherwise have gone uncelebrated.”
The event was rescheduled from January because of Covid-19 and the time was adjusted from a 6:30 p.m. start to 5:30 p.m. because of a scheduling conflict.
All interested are encouraging to register for the event since space will still be limited. Check out the the event site on the Greenwich Public Library and register.
Books will be available at the event or before hand or at Battenkill Books in Cambridge.
Fantastic!
Suggestion: Give a talk at SUNY Adirondack. For students and public.
