Celebrating a new author
Something or other Publishing hopes to make new Glens Falls book a best seller
FROM SOMETHING OR OTHER PUBLISHING,
Ken Tingley transcended the barriers of communication by reaching out to those who really matter the most: the locals. First as a sportswriter, later as a sports editor, and finally as editor of The Post-Star in Glens Falls, N.Y, Ken’s work fostered what small newspapers — at their best — stand for; their tight-knit connection to the community, their focus on people, and their enduring sense of place. On July 17, 2020, the city of Glens Falls decided to celebrate the triumphs of their local hero with Ken Tingley Day, a day to commemorate his retirement after 40 years on the front lines of community journalism.
Something Or Other Publishing (SOOP) is proud to be publishing Ken’s first book. The Last American Editor is a summary of the incredible journey our dear friend had throughout his journalist career. Today we want to honor, not only the achievements of a person who gave the people a voice, but the fascinating stories of interesting people that live in small communities all across the country.
It has been an amazing journey, but SOOP’s ultimate goal is to help Ken get the BestSeller author status he deserves! So we are pleased to include not only a free Kindle download of The Last American Editor in our Pre-Order Package, but also a coupon for another FREE Ebook of your choice among SOOP’s Summer and Fall release schedules.
Please take advantage of this exclusive offer by clicking the Pre-Order link, and consider adding an additional copy for a friend.
